In Monday's league match, the visiting Calvert Cavaliers softball team scored a nice 9-0 victory over the North Point Eagles.

The Cavaliers (9-4) will now prepare for their match against Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD). The Cougars go into the Southern Maryland match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Thomas Stone gained a win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 15-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Great Mills Hornets (Great Mills, MD) in a Southern Maryland match, on Wednesday, April 30. North Point will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Hornets go into the match with a 4-12 record after their 11-2 league loss to Patuxent (Lusby, MD).
