Maryland High School Softball - Centennial bounces Long Reach

April 28, 2025: Columbia, MD 21045

The Centennial Eagles softball team scored 15 runs and held the host Long Reach Lightning to 9 in the Eagles league win on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hammond for a Howard County battle on Tuesday, April 29. Centennial will confront a Golden Bears team coming off a 14-2 league loss to Howard (Ellicott City, MD). The Golden Bears record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Long Reach moves to 4-7 on the season. The Lightning travel to River Hill (Clarksville, MD) to confront the Hawks in a Howard County battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Hawks come into the battle with a record of 1-4.
