Maryland High School Softball - Century knocked off by South Carroll

The South Carroll Cavaliers overwhelmed the visiting Century Knights softball squad by a count of 11-2 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Cavaliers meet the Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD) in a Monocacy Valley - Chesapeake challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. South Carroll will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Governor Thomas Johnson (Frederick, MD). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Governor Thomas Johnson was routed by South Hagerstown (Hagerstown, MD), 9-2, in a league challenge.
