The Chincoteague Ponies triumphed over the host Salisbury Christian softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Ponies play the Arcadia Firebirds (Oak Hall, VA) in a Eastern Shore challenge, on Tuesday, April 29. Chincoteague will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Firebirds enter the challenge with a 4-6 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA).
The (0-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Holly Grove Christian (Westover, MD). The Eagles enter the Freelance challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Holly Grove Christian was routed by Chincoteague (Chincoteague, VA), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
