In Monday's league match, the visiting Cohoes Tigers softball team scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Lansingburgh Knights.

The Tigers (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Catholic Central (Troy, NY). The Crusaders go into the Section 2 Colonial match with a 4-2 record.

In their next game, the Knights battle the Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 29. Lansingburgh will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Patriots go into the match with a 0-3 record after their 23-2 non-league loss to Bethlehem Central (Delmar, NY).
