Washington High School Softball - Columbia River sneaks past Woodland

The Columbia River Rapids softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Woodland Beavers to 5 in the Rapids league win on Monday.
The Rapids now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host R.A. Long for a 2A Greater St. Helens battle on Wednesday, April 30. Columbia River will confront a Lumberjacks team coming off a 8-5 league win over Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 5-9.
With the loss, Woodland moves to 10-6 on the season. The Beavers travel to Ridgefield (Ridgefield, WA) to confront the Spudders in a 2A Greater St. Helens battle on Wednesday, April 30. The Spudders come into the battle with a record of 12-3. Ridgefield lost 5-2 in their recent league battle against Mark Morris (Longview, WA)
