The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Conestoga Valley Buckskins (Lancaster, PA) and the host Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA), observed Conestoga Valley's softball team prevail over Ephrata by a tally of 13-3.

The Buckskins (6-8) will now prepare for their bout against Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA). The Pioneers go into the Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 bout with a 13-4 record. In their last bout, Lampeter-Strasburg knocked off Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA), 10-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mountaineers clash with the Solanco Golden Mules (Quarryville, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon Section 2 bout, on Wednesday, April 30. Ephrata will attempt to advance on its 7-10 season record. The Golden Mules go into the bout with a 17-2 record after their 15-0 league win over Lebanon (Lebanon, PA).
