The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Seneca Fighting Irish (Seneca, IL) and the host Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL), observed Seneca's softball team prevail over Dwight by a tally of 11-0.

The Fighting Irish (21-0) will now prepare for their bout against Coal City (Coal City, IL). The Coalers go into the non-league bout with a 15-6 record. In their last bout, Coal City beat Herscher (Herscher, IL), 5-3, in a league outing.

With the loss, Dwight moves to 5-13 on the season. The Trojans host Midland (Varna, IL) to encounter the Timberwolves in a Tri-County outing on Tuesday, April 29. The Timberwolves come into the outing with a record of 2-14. Midland lost 18-8 in their recent league outing against Woodland (Streator, IL)
