Hononegah Indians (Rockton, IL) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Freeport Pretzels (Freeport, IL), 12-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, Hononegah upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Indians travel to Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL) to play the Knights in a Northern Illinois NIC-9 game on Wednesday, April 30. The Knights enter the game with a record of 11-5. Rockford Auburn won 6-3 in their recent league game against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL)

The Pretzels now own a 3-14 record. They take the field next when they host Belvidere for a Northern Illinois NIC-9 bout on Wednesday, April 30. Freeport will battle a Bucs team coming off a 16-0 league loss to Belvidere North (Belvidere, IL). The Bucs record now stands at 9-7.
