The Luverne Tigers overwhelmed the visiting Goshen Eagles softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Zion Chapel Rebels (Jack, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, April 28. Luverne will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 11-13 record after their 10-0 non-league win over New Brockton (New Brockton, AL).
The Eagles (1-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Pike Liberal Arts (Troy, AL). The Patriots go into the non-league challenge with a 12-11 record. In their last challenge, Pike Liberal Arts was routed by Brantley (Brantley, AL), 4-2, in a non-league challenge.
