With the triumph, North Lincoln improves its record to 17-5 on the year. The Knights travel to Foard (Newton, NC) to face the Tigers in a Western Foothills 3A game on Wednesday, April 30. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 11-8. Foard won 10-0 in their recent league game against North Iredell (Olin, NC)

The Red Tornadoes now hold a 4-12 record. They play next when they host North Lincoln for a Western Foothills 3A game on Thursday, May 1. Hickory will face a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Knights record now stands at 17-5.
