West Virginia High School Softball - Hoover bounces Ripley

April 28, 2025: Clendenin, WV 25071

In Monday's non-league match, the host Hoover Huskies softball team scored a nice 9-1 victory over the Ripley Vikings.

The Huskies (17-4) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln County (Hamlin, WV). The Panthers go into the Freelance match with a 13-8 record. In their last match, Lincoln County gained a win over Sissonville (Charleston, WV), 9-5, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Vikings battle the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 29. Ripley will attempt to better on its 5-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the match with a 10-15 record after their 12-3 non-league loss to Sherman (Seth, WV).
