The Marquette Sentinels the visiting Ishpeming Hematites softball squad by a count of 15-11 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Sentinels meet the Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. Marquette will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record.

The Hematites (0-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Negaunee (Negaunee, MI). The Miners enter the Mid-Peninsula challenge with a 1-6 record.
