In Monday's league test, the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies (Johnstown, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the host Utica Redskins (Utica, OH), by a tally of 16-10.

Next, the Johnnies clash with the Licking Heights Hornets (Pataskala, OH) in a Licking County test, on Wednesday, April 30. Johnstown-Monroe will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record. The Hornets go into the test with a 10-8 record after their 17-0 league win over Zanesville (Zanesville, OH).

The Redskins (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league test with a 14-2 record. In their last test, Mt. Vernon held off Watkins Memorial (Pataskala, OH), 10-0, in a league test.
