The Lockport Lions overwhelmed the visiting Kenmore East Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 6-0 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Lions meet the Lewiston-Porter Lancers (Youngstown, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Frontier challenge, on Wednesday, April 30. Lockport will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Lancers go into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 11-0 league loss to North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY).

The Bulldogs (0-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Island (Grand Island, NY). The Vikings enter the Section 6 Niagara - Frontier game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Grand Island edged Kenmore West (Buffalo, NY), 14-3, in a league game.
