New York High School Softball - Kings Park edges Miller Place

The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Kings Park Kingsmen (Kings Park, NY) and the visiting Miller Place Panthers (Miller Place, NY), observed Kings Park's softball team get by Miller Place by a tally of 2-0.
The Kingsmen (8-5) will now prepare for their bout against West Islip (West Islip, NY). The Lions go into the non-league bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, West Islip by Deer Park (Deer Park, NY), 2-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Hampton Bays Baymen (Hampton Bays, NY) in a Section 11 A-6 bout, on Thursday, May 1. Miller Place will attempt to advance on its 9-1 season record. The Baymen go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 10-9 league loss to Mount Sinai (Mount Sinai, NY).
