The Lakeside Dragons softball squad (Ashtabula, OH), was routed 20-2 in Monday's league contest with the host Perry Pirates (Perry, OH)

With the triumph, Perry improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Pirates travel to Solon (Solon, OH) to face the Comets in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 29. The Comets enter the contest with a record of 4-11. Solon lost 12-3 in their recent league contest against Wadsworth (Wadsworth, OH)

The Dragons now hold a 1-13 record. They play next when they host Struthers for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 29. Lakeside will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 22-3 non-league loss to Salem (Salem, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-15.
