In Monday's league test, the North Boone Vikings (Poplar Grove, IL) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lutheran Crusaders (Rockford, IL), by a tally of 23-2.

Next, the Vikings meet the Genoa-Kingston Cogs (Genoa, IL) in a Big Northern test, on Tuesday, April 29. North Boone will attempt to advance on its 15-3 season record. The Cogs go into the test with a 8-11 record after their 6-0 league win over Dixon (Dixon, IL).

The Crusaders (0-13) will now prepare for their test against Byron (Byron, IL). The Tigers go into the Big Northern test with a 3-10 record. In their last test, Byron was routed by Rock Falls (Rock Falls, IL), 13-1, in a league test.
