Pennsylvania High School Softball - Mifflin County topped by State College

April 28, 2025: Lewistown, PA 17044

State College Little Lions (State College, PA) backers left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Mifflin County Huskies (Lewistown, PA), 18-2 in a league game.

With the triumph, State College upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Little Lions host Cedar Cliff (Camp Hill, PA) to play the Colts in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game on Tuesday, April 29. The Colts enter the game with a record of 0-12. Cedar Cliff lost 16-3 in their recent league game against Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA)

The Huskies now own a 5-7 record. They play next when they host Chambersburg for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game on Tuesday, April 29. Mifflin County will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Altoona (Altoona, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 12-4.
