California High School Softball - Pajaro Valley bounces Santa Catalina

The Pajaro Valley Grizzlies softball team scored 19 runs and held the visiting Santa Catalina Cougars to 4 in the Grizzlies league win on Monday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenfield for a PCAL - Cypress battle on Wednesday, April 30. Pajaro Valley will confront a Bruins team coming off a 15-0 league win over Anzar (San Juan Bautista, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 7-11.

With the loss, Santa Catalina moves to 0-2 on the season. The Cougars travel to Marina (Marina, CA) to confront the Mariners in a PCAL - Cypress battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Mariners come into the battle with a record of 6-3. Marina won 15-3 in their recent league battle against Seaside (Seaside, CA)
