South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL), 11-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, South Lamar improves its record to 17-16 on the year. The Stallions host Holy Spirit Catholic (Tuscaloosa, AL) to play the Saints in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 29. The Saints enter the game with a record of 13-13. Holy Spirit Catholic won 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Pickens Academy (Carrollton, AL)

The Tornadoes now hold a 9-9 record.
