Pennsylvania High School Softball - Union Area bounces Sewickley Academy

April 28, 2025: New Castle, PA 16101

In Monday's league match, the host Union Area Scotties softball team scored a nice 9-0 win over the Sewickley Academy .

The Scotties (14-1) will now prepare for their match against Mohawk Area (Bessemer, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 10-4 record. In their last match, Mohawk Area was routed by Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA), 5-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the battle the Quaker Valley Quakers (Leetsdale, PA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, April 30. Sewickley Academy will attempt to better on its 10-2 season record. The Quakers come into the match with a 3-7 record after their 10-2 league loss to Hopewell (Aliquippa, PA).
