The Sun Prairie East Cardinals softball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Waunakee Warriors to 2 in the Cardinals non-league win on Monday.

The Cardinals now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Janesville Craig for a Big Eight battle on Tuesday, April 29. Sun Prairie East will confront a Cougars team coming off a 19-5 non-league win over Fort Atkinson (Fort Atkinson, WI). The Cougars record now stands at 5-10.

With the loss, Waunakee moves to 6-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Beaver Dam (Beaver Dam, WI) to confront the Golden Beavers in a Badger - Large battle on Tuesday, April 29. The Golden Beavers come into the battle with a record of 9-4. Beaver Dam lost 3-0 in their recent league battle against Watertown (Watertown, WI)
