The Pittston Patriots baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Berwick Bulldogs to 3 in the Patriots league win on Tuesday.

The Patriots now hold a 14-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greater Nanticoke Area for a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Thursday, April 30. Pittston will play a Trojans team coming off a 16-1 league loss to Dallas (Dallas, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-13.

With the defeat, Berwick drops to 3-11 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Crestwood (Mountain Top, PA) to play the Comets in a Wyoming Valley 1 test on Thursday, April 30. The Comets go into the test with a record of 3-10. Crestwood lost 8-0 in their recent league test against Wyoming Valley West (Plymouth, PA)
