The Larned Indians baseball team scored 9 runs and held the visiting Hugoton Eagles to 2 in the Indians non-league win on Tuesday.

The Indians now hold a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they host Ellis for a non-league test on Friday, May 1. Larned will play a Railroaders team coming off a 16-3 non-league win over Skyline (Pratt, KS). The Railroaders record now stands at 15-5.

With the defeat, Hugoton drops to 6-12 on the year. The Eagles host Lakin (Lakin, KS) to play the Broncs in a non-league test on Thursday, April 30. The Broncs go into the test with a record of 8-7. Lakin won 10-5 in their recent league match against Stanton County (Johnson, KS)
