Ohio High School Baseball - Springfield wallops Waterloo

The Springfield Tigers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the host Waterloo Vikings to 0 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Neshannock for a non-league test on Thursday, April 30. Springfield will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 12-0 league win over Northgate (Pittsburgh, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 14-2.

With the defeat, Waterloo drops to 1-11 on the year. The Vikings travel to Aquinas (Louisville, OH) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, May 4. The Knights go into the test with a record of 7-5.
