Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI) followers exited the stadium satisfied Tuesday as they saw their lacrosse team top the host Prout Crusaders (Wakefield, RI), 16-4 in a league game.

With the victory, Westerly advances its record to 7-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Middletown (Middletown, RI) to play the Islanders in a Division 2 game on Thursday, April 30. The Islanders come into the game with a record of 4-3. Middletown won 9-7 in their recent league game against Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI)

The Crusaders now sport a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a Division 2 game on Wednesday, May 6.
