North Carolina High School Softball - Ashley West Brunswick

In Tuesday's league test, the West Brunswick Trojans (Shallotte, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Ashley Screaming Eagle (Wilmington, NC), by a tally of 7-1.

Next, the Trojans meet the Gray's Creek Bears (Hope Mills, NC) in a non-league test, on Thursday, April 30. West Brunswick will attempt to advance on its 16-6 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 13-6 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Midway (Dunn, NC).

The Screaming Eagle (4-15) will now prepare for their test against Lumberton (Lumberton, NC). The Pirates go into the non-league test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, Lumberton held off Richmond Senior (Rockingham, NC), 13-0, in a non-league test.
