Ohio High School Softball - Coventry Springfield

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Coventry Comets (Akron, OH) and the host Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH), observed Coventry's softball team get by Springfield by a tally of 6-3.

The Comets (9-5) will now prepare for their bout against Triway (Wooster, OH). The Titans go into the non-league bout with a 13-6 record. In their last bout, Triway was routed by Dalton (Dalton, OH), 4-3, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Ellet Orangement (Akron, OH) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, April 29. Springfield will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Orangement go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 23-0 league win over East (Akron, OH).
