Illinois High School Softball - Metamora sneaks past Dunlap

In Tuesday's league match, the host Metamora Redbirds softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Dunlap Eagles.

The Redbirds (18-6) will now prepare for their match against Washington (Washington, IL). The Panthers come into the Mid-Illini match with a 15-5 record. In their last match, Washington was nipped by Canton (Canton, IL), 2-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Eagles confront the Pekin Dragons (Pekin, IL) in a Mid-Illini match, on Thursday, April 30. Dunlap will attempt to better on its 19-5 season record. The Dragons come into the match with a 16-7 record after their 16-7 non-league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).
