The Marshall Tigers softball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Worthington Trojans to 1 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Windom for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 30. Marshall will confront a Eagles team coming off a 9-2 league loss to Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Worthington moves to 0-12 on the season. The Trojans host St. Peter (St. Peter, MN) to confront the Saints in a non-league battle on Thursday, April 30.
