Ohio High School Softball - Waterloo sneaks past Springfield

April 28, 2026: Atwater, OH 44201

In Tuesday's league match, the host Waterloo Vikings softball team scored a tight 4-3 win over the Springfield Tigers.

The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their match against Windham (Windham, OH). The Bombers come into the non-league match with a 6-9 record. In their last match, Windham was nipped by Canton Central Catholic (Canton, OH), 22-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH) in a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet match, on Wednesday, April 29. Springfield will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Blue Devils come into the match with a 14-2 record after their 6-0 league win over Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH).
