The Kennewick Lions baseball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Chiawana Riverhawks to 5 in the Lions league victory on Friday.
The Lions (18-2) will now prepare for their match against Chiawana (Pasco, WA). The Riverhawks go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match with a 7-11 record. In their last match, Chiawana by Richland (Richland, WA), 5-0, in a league match.
The Riverhawks (8-12) will now prepare for their match against Kennewick (Kennewick, WA). The Lions go into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia match with a 17-1 record. In their last match, Kennewick tipped Southridge (Kennewick, WA), 8-3, in a league match.
