Ohio High School Baseball - Elgin loses to Ridgemont

In Friday's league game, the host Ridgemont Golden Gophers baseball team scored a tight 10-6 victory over the Elgin Comets.

The Golden Gophers (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Perry (Lima, OH). The Commodores go into the Northwest Central game with a 14-1 record. In their last game, Perry tipped Vanlue (Vanlue, OH), 13-1, in a non-league game.

The Comets (5-6) will now prepare for their game against Fairbanks (Milford Center, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Fairbanks tipped Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH), 6-2, in a league game.
