The Jeffers Jets the host Iron Mountain Mountaineers baseball team by a count of 18-13 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Jets now possess a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Negaunee for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 3. Jeffers will face a Miners team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Miners record now stands at 1-6.
Next, the Mountaineers face the Niagara Badgers (Niagara, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, May 9. Iron Mountain will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record.
