The Swainsboro Tigers baseball team scored 15 runs and limited the host Jefferson County Warriors to 11 in the Tigers non-league victory on Friday.
The Tigers (16-14) will now prepare for their match against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 18-5 record. In their last match, Jefferson County edged Putnam County (Eatonton, GA), 10-8, in a league match.
The Warriors (18-7) will now prepare for their match against Swainsboro (Swainsboro, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league match with a 14-14 record. In their last match, Swainsboro was overwhelmed by Toombs County (Lyons, GA), 16-1, in a league match.
