The Vashon Island Pirates baseball team (Vashon Island, WA), was overwhelmed 12-2 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Klahowya Eagles (Silverdale, WA)
The Eagles now hold a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] for a 1A Nisqually outing on Monday, May 2. Klahowya will confront a team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Seattle Christian (SeaTac, WA). The record now stands at 2-10.
Next, the Pirates confront the Seattle Christian Warriors (SeaTac, WA) in a 1A Nisqually outing, on Wednesday, May 4. Vashon Island will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record.
