Lake Mead Academy Eagles (Henderson, NV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV), 23-0 in a league test.

With the win, Lake Mead Academy upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Eagles host The Meadows School (Las Vegas, NV) to battle the Mustangs in a 2A Southern test on Tuesday, May 3. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 15-11. The Meadows School won 6-2 in their recent league test against White Pine (Ely, NV)

With the defeat, Laughlin falls to 10-13 on the season. The Cougars travel to Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to battle the Lynx in a 2A Southern test on Friday, May 6. The Lynx come into the test with a record of 6-12.
