The Litchfield Cowboys baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Thomaston Bears to 6 in the Cowboys league victory on Friday.
The Cowboys (3-7) will now prepare for their match against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the Berkshire match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Shepaug Valley was overwhelmed by Nonnewaug (Woodbury, CT), 11-1, in a league match.
The Bears (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Housatonic-Wamogo (Falls Village, CT). The Mountaineers go into the non-league match with a 4-2 record. In their last match, Housatonic-Wamogo gained a win over Gilbert (Winsted, CT), 21-7, in a non-league match.
