Utah High School Baseball - Spanish Fork nips Maple Mountain

Spanish Fork Dons (Spanish Fork, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Spanish Fork upgrades its record to 19-3 on the season. The Dons host Wasatch (Heber City, UT) to battle the Wasps in a 5A Region 9 test on Tuesday, May 3. The Wasps come into the test with a record of 12-10. Wasatch won 7-2 in their recent league test against Springville (Springville, UT)

With the defeat, Maple Mountain falls to 9-13 on the season. The Golden eagles travel to Salem Hills (Salem, UT) to battle the Skyhawks in a 5A Region 9 test on Tuesday, May 3. The Skyhawks come into the test with a record of 13-9.
