The Waunakee Warriors nudged the visiting Sun Prairie Cardinals baseball team by a tally of 3-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now hold a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison West for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 30. Waunakee will face a Regents team coming off a 8-7 league win over Madison La Follette (Madison, WI). The Regents record now stands at 6-9.
Next, the Cardinals face the Kimberly Papermakers (Kimberly, WI) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 30. Sun Prairie will attempt to advance on its 12-5 season record. The Papermakers enter the bout with a 14-2 record after their 14-1 league win over Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI).
