The Trinity Academy Tigers crushed the host Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill Lion baseball team by a count of 12-6 in Friday's league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they host Greenfield for a non-league bout on Monday, May 2. Trinity Academy will face a Knights team coming off a 11-7 league win over Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 7-10.
Next, the Lion face the Salem Baptist Christian Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCISAA Triad bout, on Tuesday, May 3. Trinity of Durham and Chapel Hill will attempt to move on its 5-12 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 3-11 record after their 15-11 league loss to Burlington Christian Academy (Burlington, NC).
