Connecticut High School Volleyball - Pomperaug overwhelmed by Newtown

April 29, 2022: Newtown, CT 06482

In Friday's league battle, the host Newtown Nighthawks volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pomperaug Panthers.

The Nighthawks (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Xavier (Middletown, CT). The Falcons come into the South-West battle with a 7-4 record.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Norwich Free Academy Wildcats (Norwich, CT) in a South-West battle, on Monday, May 2. Pomperaug will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-8 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT).
