The Southside Seahawks (Chocowinity, NC) soccer bounced the visiting Cape Hatteras Hurricanes (Buxton, NC), 5-0 in Friday's non-league bout.
With the win, Southside moves its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Seahawks host Lejeune (Camp Lejeune, NC) to battle the Devil Pups in a Coastal Plains 1A/2A bout on Wednesday, May 4. The Devil Pups go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Lejeune lost 9-0 in their recent league bout against East Carteret (Beaufort, NC)
In their next game, the Hurricanes battle the Northeastern Eagles (Elizabeth City, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, May 4. Cape Hatteras will attempt to move on its 0-9 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-10 record after their 9-0 league loss to First Flight (Kill Devil Hills, NC).
