In Friday's league game, the visiting West Carteret Patriots baseball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the Dixon Bulldogs.
The Patriots (6-7) will now prepare for their game against White Oak (Jacksonville, NC). The Vikings go into the game with a 0-10 record.
The Bulldogs (2-12) will now prepare for their game against Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC). The Centurions go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record.
