In Friday's non-league game, the host Western Albemarle Warriors baseball team scored a nice 12-2 victory over the Orange County Fighting Hornets.
The Warriors (7-6) will now prepare for their game against Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA). The Blue Streaks go into the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Harrisonburg overcame Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA), 13-3, in a non-league game.
The Fighting Hornets (3-7) will now prepare for their game against Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA). The Patriots go into the non-league game with a 2-3 record.
