The Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) softball routed the host Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), 19-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Vikings (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Boulder City (Boulder City, NV). The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-1 record.
The Pioneers now possess a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Pahrump Valley for a non-league bout on Tuesday, May 3. Canyon Springs will confront a Trojans squad coming off a 21-0 non-league win over Clark (Las Vegas, NV). The Trojans record now stands at 9-0.
