The Cumberland Clippers (Cumberland, RI) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Westerly Bulldogs (Westerly, RI), 19-2 in Friday's league outing.
With the win, Cumberland upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The Clippers travel to Chariho (Wood River Junction, RI) to battle the Chargers in a Division 2 outing on Monday, May 2. The Chargers go into the outing with a record of 5-4. Chariho lost 12-11 in their recent league outing against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
With the defeat, Westerly drops to 1-7 on the season. The Bulldogs host Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI) to battle the Huskies in a Division 2 outing on Tuesday, May 3. The Huskies go into the outing with a record of 1-5. Mt. Hope lost 16-3 in their recent league outing against Prout (Wakefield, RI)
