The Durham Academy Cavaliers lacrosse team scored 16 points and limited the visiting North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights to 7 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers (8-5) will now prepare for their game against Cary Academy (Cary, NC). The Chargers enter the NCISAA - Division I game with a 7-6 record. In their last game, Cary Academy was overwhelmed by Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC), 13-3, in a league game.
The Knights (3-9) will now prepare for their game against Ravenscroft (Raleigh, NC). The Ravens enter the NCISAA - Division I game with a 9-4 record. In their last game, Ravenscroft was overwhelmed by Providence Day (Charlotte, NC), 12-5, in a non-league game.
