Massachusetts High School Lacrosse - Pope Francis can't get by East Longmeadow

In Friday's non-league test, the visiting East Longmeadow Spartans lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Pope Francis Cardinals.
The Spartans now have a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host South Hadley for a non-league test on Tuesday, May 3. East Longmeadow will face a Tigers squad coming off a 15-3 league loss to Minnechaug Regional (Wilbraham, MA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-4.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Longmeadow Lancers (Longmeadow, MA) in a Valley Wheel test, on Tuesday, May 3. Pope Francis will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Lancers come into the test with a 7-1 record after their 18-4 league win over Westfield (Westfield, MA).
